β β β β β I had to wait a hour and a half for my food during lunch. I had to go as far as signaling a waiter to get my dishes. I was brought multiple dishes that were not mine and had to say thatβs not what I ordered after telling them multiple times what I ordered. When I got my food, it was cold. Worst 50β¬ I have spent in over 6 months of my time living in Italy.

β β β β β We were in this Osteria on October 26th in the evening. My wife ordered "stoccato" with Polenta, a typical Mantovan plate. With a very bad result:a few hours later she had problems with the stomache and a heavy diarrhoe.
She was really sick ! Also the open wine, a Merlot was of a very low quality, so we had to orer a bottle of "Luisa" from Friauli, which was o.k. bot not cheap ( 20 Euro).
We often stop in Mantua on our way to Greece, but we will never again eat in this taverna.

β β β β β We had a delicious dinner here. The staff was kind and efficient. I applaud the owner for trying to support other businesses. (The Osteria no longer serves coffee so they are not taking business from the local bars and cafes.)

β β β β β Ufff... what to say... overpriced food, the quality of the food is low, prepared without technique ( the lasagna was clearly reheated in a microwave).... The staff was very rude, the lady in charge was very disappointed. If you dare order just one dish each you will be scorned like a war criminal. The waiter took our plates when we hadn't even finished. A tourist trap with nothing good in it.
