★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a holiday in Rome, Naples and Sorrento, this was genuinely the best gelato we had (having had gelato roughly twice a day for 2 weeks!) The gelato is superb, the portions are generous and the service is friendly. Furthermore my Fiancé can’t eat dairy and this place had the best selection of dairy free gelato we had seen in Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down, the best gelateria in Sorrento, if not the world. 36 flavours, all home made. No fats, Gluten free. Many lactose free sorbets.
They also do a fantastic bruschetta, and the best cocktails we've tried in the region.
Really friendly staff. They'll let you try before you buy on the ice cream, and are very engaging without being pushy.
A true hidden gem in the crowded streets of Sorrento. Very recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most expensive And at the same time smallest portion of gelato I’ve had in Italy. Only gave you one flavour for the small size. It’s definitely aimed at tourists with “world first ice cream champion winner” sign out front. Gelato was decent but not worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was recommended this place but was disappointed. Only around 10 flavours, so definitely not the 36 mentioned in previous reviews. My lemon sorbet was tasty but full of ice chunks. My partner's pistachio was good, but with a thick mouth feel and not the standard of other places in Sorrento. Credit card came up as Fuoro Cafe, which is the restaurant next door, so maybe ownership has changed?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a meal at Fuoro I wasn’t sure that I could manage a rich gelato. That was until I was tempted and intrigued by the crema amalfitana next door. If there is nothing else I leave behind me but this review encouraging others to have their life changed with this particularly special variety of ice cream, I will leave God’s green earth as a better and more fulfilling place for at least someone. And I can rest happy. My only regret? I managed only 9 scoops in my 72 hours in Sorrento.
