★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed a week at an agriturismo nearby and popped into San Casciano to stock up. The staff here were very friendly and loaded up my wife with staples and simple but authentic Tuscan recipes. Then they invited us to reserve a table for their catered buffet dinner a few days later. We accepted and were delighted by that experience. For 10 Euros/person, we had a terrific assortment of fresh Tuscan delights, including a glass of rose and dolci following the meal. Highly recommended!
