A	Albert Metellari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho vissuto 20 anni a Castiglione del Lago e non sapevo che esistesse un posto cosi meraviglioso nel cuore del centro storico finché una coppia di amici miei sono andati dal Canada per una notte in questa struttura e sono rimasti contentissimi. La sign.ra Donatella è molto gentile, disponibile è pronta ad accogliere le richieste. Sicuramente” Antica Casa di Famiglia” sarà il primo posto da raccomandare ai turisti Canadesi che andranno a visitare Castiglione del Lago, uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia. I lived in Castiglione del Lago for 20 years and I did not know that such a wonderful place existed in the heart of the historic center until a couple of my friends went from Canada for a night in this structure and they were delighted. Mrs. Donatella is very kind, available and ready to accommodate requests. Surely "Antica Casa di Famiglia" will be the first place to recommend to Canadian tourists who will visit Castiglione del Lago, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

It is located in the center of the town, near the castle, to the lake Trasimeno and to all the facilities. The room is clean and confortable. You can find: wi-fi, air conditioner, towels, soap.. the owner is an added value. She is very kind and friendly. I would raccomand this place

The optional beakfast at La Cantina next door was lovely, overlooking the lake.. Negative: It would have been nice tro have a small fridge available for guests to put water and wine in, although Donatella did allow us to put things into a private fridge when we asked her..

The welcome was warm and she even made us a baby bed even though we did not ask and it was excellent.. Negative: The apartment has no parking. We parked the car not close to the apartment. Something we did not expect, especially with a baby. Plus there is no elevator.
E	E&r on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The room was nice, modern and felt really clean. There was also a tiny fridge in the room which we found useful. The bathroom was also good and there was a whole body mirror. Like some others had also written before, it would have been useful to have a few more spots to hang your towels in the bathroom. The location was superb and the views from the common area and balcony were fantastic. The building is right in the center of the old town of Castiglione del Lago. The atmosphere in the whole building was great. And the breakfast was amazing! Would definitely recommend staying at Antica casa di famiglia and if we are ever planning on coming to the Castiglione del Lago again, we'll come here.. Negative: The staff member with whom we were in contact did not speak English. We found that a bit challenging. Altough she was really helpful and nice to us when we tried to speak Italian. After all, there was no problem with the staff even though communication was a bit challenging..
