★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere inside and cannot confirm the comment about slow waiter. The food was good, I had a good tagliata. Tiramisu ok, but not overwhelming ;) if in Castiglione del Lago, it is worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tastiest, the most delicate aubergine Parmigianino I've ever had accompanied with a bold white Grechetto made my evening. I enjoyed rustcal decor (folksy yet tasteful) as well as calm ambiance and music. The fish soup I had was very rich - not really soup to be honest more like a stew. Only downside was service which despite of being really satisfactory all along, failed at the end when we were not noticed by staff and waited for the bill quote long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious meal for a great price. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely place for lunch. Interesting wine list with some little gems. We would certainly recommend L’Acquario and will be returning in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the service was very unfriendly and cold, prices high and the food not good. I got tortellini that weren’t cooked through (not al dente but still hard from the freezer!!) - really don’t recommend sadly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the best fish restaurant in town. All the fish comes directly from the lake and is truly delicious.
Given that the menu boast mainly fresh water fish it can be very tricky for the chef as these fish generally have very different flavour to what we all usually eat from the sea. However, there is a master chef in that restaurant which serves up something very special. Would strongly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was really slow, one waitress was very charming and good but the others were just alright.
My gnocchi was delicious however the carbonara was clearly over cooked and the egg had cooked and gone grainy.
We were charged for bread, which was 3 slices of average bread, no salt, no oil. No one ate it as it was just plain bread...
