DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! The way they treated my mother was disgusting. He broke his wrist and suffered. They yelled at her, called her "stupid" and cut her wedding rings even if they weren't necessary. The chair on which they had sat for the X-ray was ROOT and she fell off it, on her broken wrist! There were also people who were in agony there and the hospital staff simply ignored them. Absolutely revolting. Also, they didn't even put a proper plaster cast on her wrist, just a fragile bandage. They said it was because he was going on a plane in a week, but I looked for the launch rules on the plane we're going to (EasyJet) and he said the launches were allowed after 48 hours. Now my mother is in pain without a proper cast. Terrible.

I was admitted last night to the emergency room of the Ischia hospital for an episode of atrial fibrillation.I found welcoming and prepared medical and nursing staff, a thorough investigation of my state of health, monitored during the fibrillation crisis and the morning after when the crisis is over. In particular, I thank Doctor Partial and Doctor Cassese for their preparation and kindness.

If the doctors are good I could not understand it! ... Certainly the internal organization is bad and there is no synchrony between the various services! ! 2 days in the emergency room x one dislocated thumb. On the 1st day, the emergency room nurse was polite. the doctor who reported me after the X-ray, kind and nice (but he was a dermatologist Dr ...) sent me back to the next day since the orthopedist was absent at that moment. He wrote on the report to return to practice ultrasound and visit.So after spending 3 hours in PS on Friday, I spent another 5 hours on Saturday to meet, after protests by myself and another injured person, an orthopedist, Dr ... ., who didn't even know about our long wait! And that without even moving the splint applied the day before, let alone do the ultrasound prescribed the day before to always be done in PS, he simply told me to call the toll-free number, with his name indicated, to buy a brace! Now I can understand that the staff is scarce, but the user cannot and should not be treated like this. "Zero split" organization ... Of course you go to Ischia for holidays too, and unfortunately it can happen that tourists have to resort to the care of an emergency room ... But so you let them escape ... And it certainly isn't good advertising for Ischia!

I had an accident on September 16th while on vacation in Ischia with a very painful compound fracture of the wrist. At the emergency room I found attentive and helpful staff, a clean and well-kept environment, even in the health services. The orthopedist dr. D'Amato was very kind and competent and, having refused hospitalization to return to my city to treat me, he reduced my fracture without making me suffer too much but very well, as noted by the orthopedists in Bologna. I would like to thank everyone for the care given, even the nurses and ambulance drivers who patiently endured my screams of pain trying to give me relief. I am amazed when I see negative reviews for a dislocated thumb: of course people still haven't understood that PS is for serious trauma or life threatening!

I thank the medical staff on duty in the emergency room on the night between Friday and Saturday, they were of a unique availability and professionalism in a not very large facility like that of Rizzoli di Lacco. Thank you very much for what you do

I have talked to other mothers and apparently here on the island it is common practice to give stitches without any palliation .... An appeal from a mother to the doctors of the hospital: I beg you that no one ever has to suffer so much for stitches again, I don't know if they give you local anesthetics and absorbable stitches (because like my son, others also had to remove them, for small children it is another stress) but let's make sure that the practice changes, because it is hallucinating that there is a situation like this retrograde on the island. I ask you from parent to parents, make sure that the hospital is more equipped for young patients. Because I want to hope that that's why you give the points like this. Thank God no consequences are suffering but for a heart patient it is necessary to avoid such strong stress ... If something happened?! I beg you give you some anesthetic to small children because a parent who has to take them to the hospital is already terrified, but if there are particular situations a little empathy doesn't hurt, here on the island you are the only structure, we must be calm when we turn to you. I tremble when I think of my son's screams that night and because he's been so afraid of doctors ever since that when I take him for checkups it's even harder to keep him calm.
