Been with my lady, had seasonal tasting menu and classic tasting menu. Simply excellent, the wine pairing was very well thought too. Incredibly friendly and professional service, very charming place. After dinner we stayed at the locanda, and couldn’t have been a better experience, with the incredible Italian breakfast in the morning served in the lovely shop on the side of the restaurant.

This is one of my favorites in the region. This is excellent food - down to earth, incredibly tasty, typical regional and seasonal ingredients and with great accompanying wines. Went for the three course menu and was blown away by the "parmesan ice cream" as well as the "fried zucchini flower". Service was flawless and the prices are more than fair.

Classic EMilia-Romagna food done very well. Huge portions though, watch out.

I’ve wanted to eat at Amerigo for years. Finally had my chance yesterday. Wonderful place. Savigno is a beautiful little town, and Amerigo is situated on the main drag. The tagliatelle were perhaps the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had all the best in and around Bologna. The red onion and salt trick sounds weird when the waiter explains it, but it is amazing. Veal cheek was luscious and soft, but the fried red onions really bring the dish together. The ricotta and must for dessert was so simple and elegant and sweet. Wonderful way to cap the meal. Can’t wait to go back.

This was, by far, the most wonderful food experience we had while in Italy. Although you absolutely need a car to get here (only 30-45 mins from Bologna), it’s 100% worth it. The owners and staff were so nice, accommodating, and able to make our evening exceptional. The food was certainly made with love and well worth the price. They offer a huge selection of regional wine as well as sell their own products (bitters, ragù, etc) I loved it so much that I came a second time solo, and also stayed at their Bnb (which I highly suggest you do). Grazie mille, alla prossima!
