β β β β β Great museum and art gallery. Nice display of various classical artists paintings and other works of art. Excellent audioguides (only 3 euros). Air conditioning. Nice bookstore with selection of English titles. No cafeteria. Recommended.

β β β β β Pinacoteca and Biblioteca Ambrosiana feature a beautiful and impressive library, paintings by Da Vinci and Caravaggio, and a mind boggling and well presented 8m sketch by Raffael for his fresco "Schule in Athen".

β β β β β This place cannot be missed. One of the jewels in Milan and an absolutely beautiful museum and library. The building itself has an absolutely stunning architecture and the museum is packed with lots of interesting artifacts. Loved all the detailed information available in English as well as Italian. Enjoyed every moment in here and the library at the end of the tour is a sight to behold.

β β β β β An immense collection of art, a lot being religious but still impressive, especially with the spot lighting, including Caravaggio and Da Vinci. Marked down for there being only a couple of toilets at the entrance and there are 24 rooms to go round. The exit doesn't loop back to the entrance, so picking up bags and a buggy in the cloakroom meant walking all the way from outside, back round the block - not ideal. A lady at the entrance also said I can't let my toddler run around when in the gallery halls!

β β β β β Wonderful place! Very nice art collections, Da Vinci's manuscripts placed in beautiful building. Not only pieces of art was worth admiring, but also interiors of rooms, architectural details, stairs, terraces, porches and of course library room like from Harry Potter movie ;)

β β β β β I have only been to the library because of the pandemic, not the museum yet. However, the library is a very quiet and cozy working space for people who don't want to be bothered. Everyone seems to be in their own personal space here.
The library has a lot of old books that you need for your research, but I cannot say more since my Italian is not that good.

β β β β β Well worth a visit. Went during the weekend and it was surprisingly not very crowded considering the pieces this museum holds. I didnβt realize that Raphaelβs preparatory drawing for the School of Athens was held here, so that was a pleasant surprise. There are many important works from Leonardo da Vinci as well as a Caravaggio, making this museum a real gem.

β β β β β It was the only peaceful place in the hectic Milan. The school of Athens is a grand painting on a grand scale. And the sketches of Leonardo da Vinci in the library were impressed, too.
I took the stroller, and they treated us kindly, so I enjoyed the viewing(On the second floor, strollers could not go, so I only visited the viewing area)
It was 11.5 euros including tax and I think it's well worth the visit.
