★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch is sicilian and generous. And at € 20 p/p all included not expensive. Nice atmosphere, your 1/2 ltr red is on the table right away and the excellent food arrives promptly. Will go there again and bring my friends.

The tasting menu is fantastic (€25 and your choice of 5 dishes from primo and secundi), providing a great array of flavours.
The sardine balls and octopus are impressive.
Don't miss out on their liquors of fennel, lemon and laurel, they simply give you the bottles and you serve yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place. This one. You know when you are looking for an authentic place where you can enjoy good local food, good local wine, with no frills but only substance? Ok, this is the place. Wonderful choice of spectacular food. Be prepared to be hungry. Because the size of the plates are the right one when you are hungry. Let them bring their wine. You don't have to choose in the wine list. What they bring is the right one. Fried vegetables. Stunning first courses. Fish or meat ( I have taken meat balls and sausages with sauce, wow!), Cavulicelli, and whatever you choose from the menu. Whatever you choose is ok. We had no dessert because we didn't have more space in our belly. Please, try, and tell me if I am wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a hidden gem situated a little bit outside city center. Most of it's customers are locals who come for quality and decent price. You will find on the menu traditional pasta dishes for "Primi" and fish or meat dishes for "Secondi". I would recommend squid in sauce and tagliatelle al ragu. House white wine is also amazing and it comes in a pitcher with sliced apricots. Easy five star.
