Emblematico il tentativo di vendere un pezzo finale di "prosciutella" di un noto salumificio italiano, probabilmente stantio proposto a metà prezzo. Alla richiesta di salumi locali, quali ad esempio il "pezzente", la risposta è stata: la merce mi arriva venerdì. Sui formaggi stessa storia, abbiamo comprato un pezzo di caciocavallo che ci è stato detto proveniente da Potenza, che si affiancava ad una scamorza fresca di Gioia del Colle, senza nemmeno la cortesia dell'assaggio. Naturalmente cartellini con i prezzi manco l'ombra. Prendiamo un pezzo da 400 grammi di caciocavallo e 4 birre, per un costo totale di 12 euro. Sloppy food that has no typical product of Basilicata. Tutti gli ingredienti sono di ottima qualità, davvero buonissimi il pane, l'olio e il pomodoro usati per farcire i panini oltte che i salumi. Anche le focacce e i prodotti da forno (mattonella) sono da provare assolutamente! Prezzo onestissimo per la qualità offerta. Bottega highly recommended for a quick sandwich. All the ingredients are of excellent quality, the bread, oil and tomato used to fill the sandwiches as well as the cured meats are really delicious. Even the focaccias and baked products (tile) are absolutely worth trying! Honest price for the quality offered.

Siamo stati accolti in maniera più che eccellente e ci sono stati proposti prodotti tipici della zona (buonissimi per altro). Una gentilezza ed una simpatia davvero rara di questo periodo! Assolutamente consigliatissimo! A presto e grazie ancora di tutto! We entered by chance after a long day discovering the enchanting Matera. We were welcomed in a more than excellent way and we were offered typical products of the area (very good for more). A kindness and a very rare sympathy of this period! Absolutely highly recommended! We bought fruit, vegetables, pasta, bread, eggs (you need to ask as they are refrigerated behind the counter), tuna, pesto and there are many more goodies. It’s not a “super-sized” market but does have the essentials. Delightful lady owner. Thank you.
