★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Albergo Ristorante" Mirador, more known for the typical Restaurant than for the rooms, is a nice 2* Hotel with an outstanding view on the Magra Valley, just a short drive from Aulla, from where you need to climb up to about 400m above the sea level to reach the place.
The hotel looks quite old, but the rooms seems to have been recently and originally refurbished: having stayed in very low season I was even kindly given a "room upgrade".
The restaurant is less than a mile away from the Wonderful "Our Lady of the Snow" Sanctuary, which has an even better view on Aulla and the Magra Valley river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ripped off place - we asked antipasto for 2 ppl, 2 normal bottles of wine, a plate of sausage and 2 small deserts (sobet), the price came to a shocking total of €68! No specific prices for each thing on the bill, just only a wrapped up figure of €17 per person. The quality of food is mediocre, the portions of antipasto was small, and the sausage was too salted and boring! They must have thought that we are foreigners (English) who would be too polite to make a fuss! Don't go there!

The restaurant is less than a mile awayr from the Wonderful "Our Lady of the Snow" Sanctuary, which has an even better view on Aulla and the Magra Valley river.. Negative: Too bad I had no chance to meet anyone when leaving in the morning, so I could not have breakfast in the restaurant room with a very beautiful morining sunlight ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The stopover was fine when I woke to find I had a flat tyre the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Lovly position. With super views food in restaurant was very good etc 1. Negative: Breakfast don't bother only cake room a little used needs a revamp.
