★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is divine. The staff is friendly, gracious and helpful. Family owned, and both owners were on site and working - you can tell they both put their heart and soul into this restaurant. Lovely meal in Venice. Highly recommend.

We love Venice and have always wanted to make it to Al Covo. On this trip, we finally made it and… wow!! We’re so glad we did!!
Everything we had was fantastic!! From wine recommendations and stories from Lorenzo, to the exquisite meals prepared and served by the staff, to Diane’s amazing desserts — we had a delightful time.
We met our hosts, Diane and Cesare, and fell in love with their personalities instantly!! We later found out their somm was actually their son!
What a beautiful and friendly family. Such hospitable hosts. And the cuisine was extraordinary. We look forward to many more dining experiences at Al Covo. What a treasure!

Book in advance, weeks in advance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was such a cute restaurant with friendly faces. The food was high quality, fresh, and filled with flavour that wasn't due to too much salt or sugar. The fish dishes were one of the freshest we have tasted during our time in Venice. The panna cotta was to die for. Would definitely recommend them!
