I spent some pleasant days at the Belvedere hotel. The kindness of the owner and the professionalism of the guys at the reception accompanied us throughout our stay. The location is really nice, secluded, quiet and in harmony with the Aeolian style, suitable for a relaxing holiday and not far from the main towns of the island (public transport passes by every half hour and next to it there is also a 'car rental managed by a very courteous lady) The only flaw: there is no swimming pool, but with the wonderful sea around we did not miss it

Consigliatissimo.
A place of absolute relaxation, enchanting panorama, outdoor space much appreciated also by our little Manfredi who wandered everywhere and in the company of little Giulio and the fantastic Francesca, excellent hostess and ready to satisfy every little need. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel and beautiful, welcoming staff! A little hard to get to this time of year with limited ferries and buses, but it is still manageable. Delicious breakfast everyday!

This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. The property is beautiful, located in a secluded area on Salina but in walking distance from the Rinella port. There’s a view of the ocean and a nice terrace. The suites are well equipped, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. But perhaps the best part of this place is the incredible hospitality. Francesca, the manager, is helpful and welcoming, and a fantastic cook. The breakfast, which is included, is an amazing feast of fresh products grown on the property, and the dinner is delicious and very reasonably priced. There’s great wine. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I come back to Salina — couldn’t recommend strongly enough! Thank you so much :-)

We ended up at Al Belvedere because the hotel we had originally booked closed for the season. In fact, this was a most fortunate turn of events and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Francesca was an amazing host, with home made jams, baked goods and yogurt for breakfast. The hotel is perched high on the hills, so there is a magnificent view towards Sicily. Having a kitchen unit was also a blessing, as we were getting tired of eating out all the time. There is a well stocked grocery store close by, and in Santa Marina, we found a fish store.
