K	Kai Hilton-Jones on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just come back from our first holiday in Tuscany, and we chose "Via della Stella" as our base. The location is stunningly beautiful. The 17th century buildings have have been converted to apartments and have maintained their rustic character, with wooden beams in the ceilings and tiled floors. Outside there are lovely views of the rolling hills of Tuscany and vineyards. The swimming pool is top quality and a nice place to relax. Chiara and Deborah are lovely hosts, always willing to provide advice and to help. A communal dinner is organised once a week which gives all residents the opportunity to meet properly and enjoy food and wine together. Via della Stella is in easy reach of many lovely places such as Cortona, Pienza, Montepulchiano, Florence and Siena, and if you're into clothes shopping then the Valdichiana outlet village is a short drive away. There are lots of restaurants nearby but if you prefer to cook then there's a large Coop near Cortana (15 minute drive) or a small local convenience store in the nearest village. There's a great pizza takeaway nearby too. Note that you definitely need a car if you're staying there.
D	Daniel Cortez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful villa in the Tuscan countryside and wonderful location. If you have a car, I would look no further! It’s about a 20-25 minute drive from many of the best locations in the area (ex. Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Lago Trasimeno). The views from the villa, especially the pool area are great. Chiara is a wonderful host and can share many details about what to do in the area. While there, I would inquire about the dinner / cooking class. The food was delicious and the company was very nice. You also get to sample olive oil and wine all grown within walking distance of the villa. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area with a car.

The wednesday dinner with Chiara and the other guests is fantastic. The food is superb and it feels very Italian, sitting at a long table under the trees with a beautiful view on Montepulciano. We came here already many times and we will certainly come back!

I would recommend to anyone travelling in this region looking for a convenient place to stay for doing day trips to and from neighbouring towns, relaxing by the pool, and exploring beautiful vineyards. Chiara and Debra went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. I would highly suggest guests do the wine tour and tasting that is offered. Such a beautful location for the tasting and very interesting. One of our favorite wines we had in Tuscany was their 2015 Sangiovese. The dinner they offer mid week is an absolute must - the best food and wine we had on our whole trip! Chiara treated us like family and we can't wait to go back. Amazing place!!

We love italy and this is perfect for a family holiday or to use as a base to explore the rest of tuscany. Pool, appartement and the domain are very well maintained and clean. Chiara and Deborah are the perfect hosts. Top setting within a top location. For sure join for the pizza evening and diner! We will certainly be back! thank you for everything!
V	Venla Mertanen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. Swimming pool and the big grass areas were great for the kids. Rooms were very clean and staff very nice and helpful. Recommendation for future guests (especially with smaller kids) is to select room from first floor when it is easier to utilize the outside table area.
M	Maarten van der Leur on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely gorgeous place for staying with your family. Apartments are well finished and have the traditional look. The service is good and staff are friendly. Pool is comfortable and has plenty of beds available. I can recommend the dinner evening which was really good. Of course also depending on other guests. You pay 10 euro per day for air conditioning (good for environment!). BBQ possibilities are very good, they have a big wood BBQ. There are a few nice cities you can visit in the area. The wasps also like staying at the pool so be aware of that (with drinks). Still five stars though.

We stayed in Le Carrube apartment - we loved sitting outside in the morning to have breakfast and enjoy the incredible view of the rolling Tuscany Hills. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here at this relaxing oasis!!! You can even enjoy wine tasting from wine they make from the vineyards on the property and take part in intimate cooking classes! The location is perfect for visiting other towns in Tuscany - highly recommend Cortona and Montepulciano which are 15-20 minutes away and for wine lovers Montalcino is only 1 hour by car! We were so sad we had to leave after a perfect 5 days - it was our favourite stop in our 6 week trip in Italy! We can’t wait to return to our next trip to Tuscany.
