★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience. Great views. Rolling hills, farms, snow capped peaks. Organic farm. Great homemade organic breakfasts. Highly energy efficient renovated stone farm house. Make their own traditional balsamic vinegar, bitter cherry jams, and wine. Great conversations with the owners. Excellent guidance to visiting nearby hilltop villages, churches, restaurants, guided tours and museums. This is a wonderful country experience. Lots of fun driving the hilly, serpentine, country roads off the main tourist track. You really get to experience Italy here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the best experience in Italy, the infinity pool over the meadows of Emilia Romagna gives an absolute sense of peace. I felt like I was back to my origins, away from the city stress. The hosts are so genuine, they can tell one story about each and every single ingredient on the breakfast table. The wine selection was top too. Absolutely recommended.

We highly recommend this slow living stay in the heart of the food capital of Italy.
Take a deep breath and let all the impressions come to you, then you will love your rustic Italian stay at Agriturismo Podere Prasiano near Modena.
The impressions count;
-an amazing sunset view over the hills from the infinity pool
-smell from the broad selection of herbs outside your front door
-taste of Ricotta produced the same morning from the local dairy
-sight of balsamic vinegar aging under the celling in careful supervision from educated specialists
-discovering bio friendly vineyards with the reestablishment of the original local vine
-historic throwback when looking at the authentic building stones dated far back in time but still in use or walking the nearby path of the ancestors
-… And so much more!
The care for every single original detail is very impressive. For us this rustic and local way of living is modern luxury and we can’t wait to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Podere Prasiano felt like Paradise to us. The views, swimming in the infinity pool, the local food, the wines, the friendly owners… just amazing!
We also went cycling in the hills, which was a wonderful experience! We visited the Ferarri Museums, Parma.. and just chilled in the beautiful garden.
We don’t often go back to the same place, but would love to come back to Podere Prasiano!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Emanuela and Massimo were great hosts. We stayed for 4 days at the Cassetta house, which was perfect for us with our two children (9 and 14 year old). Both the main house and the Cassetta are lovely renovated buildings. During our stay, it was very hot, so we were happy with the presence of airconditining. Also, the many wonderful things we got to eat and drink were a real treat and we enjoyed all of it greatly.
The house has a very comfortable private terrace, with great lighting as well (if desired) so that we could easily play a board game when the kids were in bed. Then there is a terrace with very relaxing seats overlooking the valley, which was brilliant at night: what a great place to enjoy life accompanied with a great glass of wine.
Finally, let's not forget the lovely pool. From it, you can also look into the valley and onto the other hills. Magnificent.
All in all, we can greatly recommend Podere Prasiano to anyone seeking a beautiful place to stay, have fun and relax in Emilia-Romagna!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing week at Podere Prasiano, with our little girl (1,5yr old) and my parents in law. It's a beautiful and spacious home, with an amazing garden and super friendly hosts with eye for detail. You could really feel, the whole property is renovated and maintained with love and passion. There was a generous selection of very tasty local foods, good wines and we even got some nice pizza bread and home made juices served as a surprise during the week. We had a really big terrace, with a bit of sun in the morning, but shadow during the rest day. While it was quite warm during our stay, this was really nice to cool down a bit after spending time at their stunning pool. We also felt really safe regarding COVID, as they had clear and strict guidelines with private areas per family and limited bookings. We can highly recommend staying at Podere Prasiano!
