Amazing tour of Acetaia Cavedoni. The son (and owner of the acetaia) did an amazing job at showing us and explaining the true "basalmic vinegar of Modena". You will understand why you're paying so much for such a little bottle of vinegar. The tour offers cheese and charcuterie meats in complement of tasting the different vinegars they offer. It was an amazing tour and I recommend anyone traveling through Italy to stop by.

This family run business was the highlight of our trip! Marcello was very friendly, generous and passionate about their products. It truly was the most amazing experience with a delicious tasting of authentic well aged balsamic vinegar. We also feasted on local meat and Parmigiano and tasted their own Lambrusco. Highly recommended!

Taking a tour of a family balsamic producing farm from the 7th generation producer was an amazing experience. Seeing the machines used in production next to the generations of grape vines while learning about the techniques and standards for different designations of balsamic was fantastic. Aside from tasting the differences in different ages of balsamic that all come from the same vines and are aged in the same place, I now feel significantly better armed when facing a wall of balsamic at a market. The family was kind and helped us get a taxi back to Modena after the tour. It was a great experience in a beautiful location.

Great tour and tasting by owners. Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale DOP made here at good prices. The process is simple but takes a l-o-n-g time and the cost reflects it. Output is small and limited by law. Once you've had the real thing, you'll never want "balsamic vinegar" from the supermarket! Super folks running a family business and keeping the tradition alive.

I had such a great tour and tasting experience of real Modena balsamic vinegar. My tour guide was super passionate about the family business, and it's so interesting to understand the process and family heritage of the condiment. Also now regular store-bought balsamic has been ruined for me! We tasted 5, 7, 16, 31 and 100 year aged samples- wow! Highly recommend a tour here! If you're lucky, you'll get to taste some local parmesan cheese and ham. Highly recommend-I found the tour via Viator.

A very interesting experience! I was here through the Italian days food tour so they had prepared a wine, cheese and meat tasting for us when we arrived. Next, we were taken for a tour around the facility where we were shown how the vinegar is made and aged. Finally, we were given various samples of the vinegar ranging from a few years to over 35 years. My favorite was definitely the ricotta cheese with the sweetened vinegar which almost tasted like ice cream with chocolate syrup on it!

Amazing experience and everything we tasted was great. Perfect for a tasting and also a lunch. The family was very nice and we learn a lot from them. Highly recommend this tour.
