Agriturismo veramente carino, con bellissima vista sulle montagne. Mentre si mangiano i tipici piatti friulani si può godere della calma che le montagne donano. La famiglia che gestisce l'agriturismo è molto simpatica ed i piatti sono davvero golosi. Consigliatissimo.

Agriturismo in mezzo al bosco a circa 1km di distanza da Sauris. Il posto è tipico e sembra di mangiare a casa della nonna, molto grezzo e bello all'esterno. Il cibo è discreto e i prezzi sono onesti ma le porzioni piuttosto scarse. Non ci hanno fatto lo scontrino e non dispongono di pagamenti elettronici. Personale cordiale.

Buon rifugio facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi da Sauris di sopra. Piatti tipici buoni e personale cortese. Da qui partono diverse camminate. Consiglio di arrivare alla partenza della skyline perché si gode di un panorama straordinario.

Bellissimo agriturismo dove si mangia molto bene, consiglio l'assaggio di grappe fatte in casa particolari e speciali, volendo si possono acquistare erbe per tisane raccolte ed esposte nei vasi. ⚠ Attenzione si può pagare solo in contanti

30 mins of walk in the wood are a perfect appetizer for appreciating the cousine of Monte Ruke Agriturismo. Dishes and service are home-style, which means you must be patient and not expecting anything fancy but the portions are abundant and the view is breathtaking. An overall positive experience.

From Sauris of Sopra take the road that rises up to Mount Ruke, is a dirt road that crosses pastures and then enters the forest. Walk to the village 25 minutes. Arrived at the shelter you are welcomed by Derma, a wonderful lady with fantastic blue dudes. You sit down and tell you what they have prepared in the day, polenta, freshly picked mushrooms, fric, roe deer, chop them. The food is great, the portions not great. Well worth going there is a piece of history. Good prices.

Is it that bad as some reviewers wrote, or, it is good as others described? Let's start saying that for sure it's a kind of controversial place and depending who you are, how you approach to the old lady and if she's already in panic mode or not, these things can change your initial impression, but there are certainly some bigger problems there. The lack of organisation is not an impression, it's a reality. Talking with some regular customers, it seems they are often understaffed and when too many customers arrive in few minutes the old lady could panic and she could become grumpy, contradicting herself or what the younger waiter did or said. What about the food quality? Well, that's another pain point. It's not great at all. The Fussy Warthog had some Sauris speck (the local cured ham) as entrance, which was very tasty and soft. Right after a well presenting dish full of home made gnocchi with a red sauce made of speck and mushrooms arrived on the table. What was wrong with that? It wasn't really savory at all, but mostly it wasn't well cooked, maybe the sauce wasn't, so the Fussy Warthog spent a good hour burping it. It's a pity that such a lovely place with a breathtaking overlook on the valley doesn't have a good kitchen and management. The good news is there are plenty of other options in Sauris.
