Ottima cena natalizia con amici. Atmosfera suggestiva, riscaldata dal fuoco del camino in un ampia e comoda sala. Il cibo é stato tutto di ottima qualità, e di produzione locale, accompagnato dalle descrizioni accurate dei due simpaticissimi chef. Consigliatissimo.

siamo stati lieti ospiti ad una cena di compleanno, il bellissimo panorama ha reso ancora più incredibile la cena, a base di prodotti tipici e caserecci. un gusto particolare e genuino in ogni piatto servito dagli antipasti al dolce... tutto squisito.

Il luogo è molto bello. A due passi da Firenze, non abbiamo usufruito del servizio di pernottamento ma siamo stati ospiti del ristorante. Tutti i piatti erano buonissimi per gli amanti della carne. Speciali gli affettati. Anche la pasta fresca ottima. Le porzioni perfette per quantità ci hanno permesso di gustare tutto fino al dolce. Assolutamente consigliato!

Un pranzo speciale in una domenica accompagnata da un sole meraviglioso. La gentilezza di Marco ci ha accolto spiegando da dove arrivano tutte le specialità norcine da lui personalmente preparate. Salumi davvero fantastici. Da provare!

I stayed at Massanera last week and ABSOLUTELY loved it! Let me start with the bad. 1) Wifi is very, very, I mean very poor and it was impossible to check in on some projects I am working on. 2) Although the homes are very beautiful you will feel that the light switches and some of the other creature comfort machines (dishwasher, coffee machines, etc) are a bit old. Just be aware of these two things. So why am I giving this a perfect 5 star score then? You will be staying on a farm that has absolutely beautiful rustic homes that are comfortable, have air-conditioning, are full of Italian charm, and do a splendid job of inviting the views and the Tuscan air inside. The grounds are absolutely beautiful to walk on as you watch the birds fly around and listen to the farm animals remind you that you are on a farm. The views are beyond stunning; rolling hills for miles around peppered with Tuscan villas and rows of grapes and olive trees everywhere. There is also a nice and big swimming pool that my daughters and I loved to spend about an hour a day in. This property is where you go to fully relax, recharge and completely forget all of your problems. It is simply beautiful and is the perfect spot to feel like you are part of Tuscany. We loved every minute we were there! Carlo is the owner of the farm and is a chap with a huge heart. He was always there to help and answer any questions, show us around, and make sure we are doing well. His chef Marco is an AMAZING cook who knows Italian cuisine in and out (he also teaches cooking courses at the university). The meals he made were simply superb, farm to table fresh greens and meats paired with wonderful wines for all meals. You must try at least one meal at the farm! This is NOT to be missed as its an experience of its own. Food was always delicious and Marco was a blast to talk to. You will learn about Italy, cuisine, the people, and much more from Marco and before you know it you will be inviting him to sit with you and share some wine! The farm is only 25 minutes away from Florence, and is about 40 minute drive to San Gimignano (must see). After five days of staying there my two daughters (8 and 12) and I left absolutely relaxed, full of great food and amazing stories. Someday when I return to Italy I will stay here again. This is Italian Nirvana! Thank you to Carlo and Marco for making this an amazing stay!
