Siamo venuti qui in 4 e abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Non capisco le (poche) critiche ai prezzi delle altre recensioni. Il posto è un ristorante a tutti gli effetti e noi abbiamo speso circa 30-35€ a testa. Per questa qualità degli ingredienti (quasi tutti locali), per la cucina e per il servizio a noi è sembrato un prezzo onestissimo. Se riusciremo, torneremo sicuramente.
4 of us came here and we ate really well. I don't understand the (few) price criticisms of the other reviews. The place is a fully-fledged restaurant and we spent around € 30-35 each. For this quality of the ingredients (almost all local), for the cuisine and for the service it seemed to us a very honest price. If we succeed, we will definitely be back.

La serata al Santa Romina ha deluso le mie aspettative. Il Sig, Luigi, proprietario, pretende troppo dal suo ospite. Pazienza, attenzione, fiducia. Non deve mancare poi un pò di fortuna. Il Sig. Luigi, nonostante il suo non sia certo un'osteria a prezzo fisso, non ha previsto di stampare il Menù e tanto meno una carta dei vini. Devi quindi attendere pazientemente il tuo turno per conoscere cosa ti propone ascoltando con attenzione la sua presentazione che prevede circa 8 descrizioni per i primi e 8 per i secondi (gli antipasti verranno proposti successivamente). Naturalmente rimani del tutto ignaro dei prezzi delle singole proposte. Se sei riuscito a seguire tutto puoi fare una scelta consapevole altrimenti ti rifugi sul primo che che ti ricordi. Quando poi passi a scegliere il vino le difficoltà aumentano perché ti devi affidare del tutto a lui non avendo uno straccio di appiglio e inizi a scommettere con i tuoi commensali su chi indovinerà il conto della serata. Superato lo scoglio della scelta non certificata per origine, costo e dettaglio dei prodotti anche per possibili allergie, non ti resta che attendere l'arrivo delle portate per l' assaggio.
The evening at the Santa Romina has disappointed my expectations. Mr. Luigi, owner, expects too much from his host. Patience, attention, trust. A little luck must not be lacking. Mr. Luigi, although his is certainly not a fixed-price tavern, did not plan to print the menu, much less a wine list. You must therefore wait patiently for your turn to know what he proposes by listening carefully to his presentation which includes about 8 descriptions for the first and 8 for the second (the appetizers will be proposed later). Of course you remain completely unaware of the prices of the individual proposals. If you have managed to follow everything you can make a conscious choice otherwise you take refuge on the first one you remember. When you then go on to choose the wine, the difficulties increase because you have to rely completely on him not having a shred of grip and you start betting with your guests on who will guess the bill for the evening. Having overcome the obstacle of choosing not certified for origin, cost and detail of the products, even for possible allergies, you just have to wait for the dishes to arrive for tasting.

Prezzi alti senza motivo, si atteggiano per il menù ma l'esecuzione è appena sufficiente. I prezzi non si conoscono fino a quando paghi. Cortesia che cambia in base al loro umore... Sinceramente non è un posto che consiglio. Peccato perché il posto sarebbe carino. Come agriturismo un pochino furbetto
High prices for no reason, they pose for the menu but the execution is just enough. Prices are not known until you pay. Courtesy that changes according to their mood ... Honestly it's not a place I recommend. Too bad because the place would be nice. As a farm a little crafty

It us one of my favorite places, the owners are very nice people. They will surprise always with new combinations and excellent products. The risotto with pine essence is a must try but everything is high standard, they have a wide knowledge of wines and strong alcoholics and they also produce some of their own. The location in the woods and the maso refurbishment are also completing the experience.

I'm normally an easy-going client, but this restaurant really deserves a bad review. While the location and building are lovely, a restaurant simply cannot take nearly two hours to bring you food, especially a plate of polenta and spezzatino. Furthermore, my party--and all the other clients who had a reservation--had to wait outside for approximately 30 minutes because the staff and owners were still finishing up their lunch--at half past midday! Overall, it took us nearly three hours to have lunch and we had to cancel our plans. As for the food, it was good, but quite pricey considering the small portions. We ended up not getting desert because we were afraid it would take them another 30 minutes to bring it to the table. In sum, even though the food and location were good, I don't think we're returning to this restaurant. :-/
