I loved it. The place is very beutiful and you can see that there was attention to all details. Food is very good and the staff is super friendly! It is the second time we come here and the experience is always great.

Beautiful location, hidden away. Restaurant started a bit slowly, but by the time we came to our second night it was great. Beware if you order the orecchio di elefanti, it is huge, you don't need a starter. We had a great time, easy drive to Monza for the GP. Rooms were large and comfortable. All have a view of the show jumping ring in the centre. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

GOOD The room was very large – we could have had a horse stay with us! The beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Nice staff in the restaurant. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice. Nice pool. BAD It is NOT an agriturismo. It is a stable and equestrian show complex, with some hotel facilities for (human!) guests. (It’s great if you’re a horse!) There is, however, NONE of the personal touch associated with an authentic Italian farm stay. Beware, as a lot of the photos of the property that make it look so appealing actually show equestrian facilities, not the hotel facilities. It is a weird place – vast and with poor signing so it’s not clear where (human!) guest facilities are situated and you feel you are intruding upon the horses’ domain. Our room was not decorated at all – we should have brought our own pictures to hang on the walls because there was absolutely no decoration, meaning the place had no charm. Our room was very dark, mainly because ALL FOUR Velux windows had broken electric blinds that were stuck in the closed position! The place looks fancy but it is somewhat superficial. It appears hastily and rather thoughtlessly refurbished with little attention to detail as the room had issues such as: loose shower door handles; worn shower hose; ceiling panels falling out of place; inadequate space in the bathroom for guests’ toiletries; a room between the bathroom and bedroom that is wasted space – it would have been better to incorporate this into a bigger bathroom; lack of practical use of the vast room space – the two chairs and table are lost in the vastness of the room; one of the lights in the room didn’t even have an on/off switch, so you had to screw in/out the lightbulbs to turn it on/off! Seriously! Restaurant was on the first floor with no lift for baby buggies – we had to carry ours all the way up and down two flights of stairs. Food at dinner was good, but too expensive for what it was. While the pool was nice, there were not enough sunbeds or parasols for the number of guests, so people would reserve them with towels and leave them in place as they went elsewhere (in one case for more than four hours!).
