The first night we returned from a busy day sightseeing in Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina, there was an 18 year old Birthday Party with babies, teens, parents, and even grandparents along with food, karaoke, and full DJ setup. All we wanted to do was have a good long sleep. The DJ speakers were directly pointed at our room about 35 feet away and it was LOUD. No one warned us this was scheduled when we checked in. We were told that it would last till 1 or 2, whenever.
•Other than that the rooms were clean and nice. There needs to be hooks and a counter top in the bathrooms. We had only a sink, nowhere to set down your toothbrush or contact case, etc.
•Scrambled eggs or fried eggs on the breakfast menu
•Please provide a map for returning to the property. On the first day GPS took us across the valley to the back property line that was all wrong. We wasted a lot of time trying to locate this property. Coverage is spotty while using Google maps in the mountains. Most definitely should have people wait at a general location and someone should come and meet them as to follow them to the property.
I would definitely return and use more of the facilities there. Please get some comfortable posh beds.
