We werden erg gastvrij ontvangen en Coen weet hele mooie plekken te noemen om te bezoeken. Wij komen zeker terug!!! What a wonderful place, beautiful surroundings where you can make fantastic beautiful walks. You will certainly relax here. We were received very hospitable and Coen knows very nice places to visit. We will definitely be back !!!

Mooi gebied ook als je van wandelen houdt! Great location with beautiful views and a cozy animal family (donkeys, goats, cats). Very much enjoyed the trips to Assisi and Montone. Nice area even if you like walking!

Dan nog de perfecte gastheer, een schitterende landelijke omgeving en talloze bezienswaardigheden. Hebben we het nog niet eens gehad over al die geweldige restaurantjes etc... Perfect B&B, a better base for trips in Italy is hardly conceivable. Then the perfect host, a beautiful rural setting and countless sights. Coen heeft ons warm ontvangen op zijn fijne plek, waar je heerlijk kan niksen of juist veel kan ondernemen. Het uitzicht is er prachtig. Vanuit de agriturismo kan je zo een wandeling maken door de heuvelachtige landschappen. En het enige wat je hoort is het fluiten van de vogels, heerlijk! Ook zijn er allerlei oude stadjes in de buurt en is het eten super lekker! (En de dagelijkse ‘aperitivo’s’ niet te vergeten!!). Coen staat voor je klaar met al zijn advies over activiteiten in de omgeving en zijn kookkunsten zijn ontzettend goed! Grazie Coen! Just returned from a week at Casa di Montone and I want to go again! Coen has received us warmly in his nice place, where you can do nothing or do a lot of business. The view is beautiful. From the agriturismo you can easily walk through the hilly landscapes. And the only thing you hear is the whistling of the birds, delicious! There are also all kinds of old towns in the area and the food is super tasty! (And not to forget the daily "aperitifs" !!). Coen is ready for you with all his advice about activities in the area and his cooking skills are incredibly good! Grazie Coen!
S	Silvia Dits on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een heerlijke plek om tot jezelf te komen, fijne ruime accommodatie met alles wat je nodig hebt en een gastheer die er voor zorgt dat je niks te kort komt! 's avonds heerlijk genieten bij een knappend haardvuur onder het genot van een hapje en een drankje.. of in de zomer heerlijk ontspannen op het terras of aan het zwembad. een stukje verder van de accommodatie vind je ezels die je luidkeels verwelkomen, geiten die lekker aan het grazen zijn, vogeltjes die vrolijk fluiten. een bos waar je in een hangmat tot rust kan komen, maar ook kunt badmintonnen, schommelen en heerlijk even kunt zitten. de omgeving is fantastisch, eindeloze vergezichten, je kunt er heerlijk wandelen en je waant jezelf terug in de tijd van de oude Romeinen in de mooie dorpjes en steden. Heerlijk eten bij échte Italiaanse restaurants voor een fractie van wat je in bijvoorbeeld Nederland betaalt, een aperitivo aan het eind van de middag samen met de plaatselijke bevolking. verse streekproducten waar je je vingers bij af likt... een olijfbomengaard, huisgemaakte marmelade... ik kan er niet over ophouden! Echt fantastisch!! What a wonderful place to come to yourself, nice spacious accommodation with everything you need and a host who will make sure that you don't lack anything! Enjoy the evening by a roaring fire while enjoying a snack and a drink .. or in the summer relax on the terrace or by the pool. a little further from the accommodation you will find donkeys that welcome you loudly, goats that are grazing, birds that sing happily. a forest where you can relax in a hammock, but you can also play badminton, swing and sit down for a while. the area is fantastic, endless views, you can enjoy walking and you imagine yourself back in the time of the ancient Romans in the beautiful villages and cities. Delicious food at real Italian restaurants for a fraction of what you pay in the Netherlands, for example, an aperitivo at the end of the afternoon together with the locals. fresh local produce that makes you lick your fingers ... an olive grove, home-made marmalade ... I can't stop talking about it! Really fantastic !!

Maar ook Toscane is goed te doen, binnen een uur ben je daar. De B&B zelf en de kamers zijn ruim en erg goed verzorgd, Coen Wessel een zeer prettige gastheer die alles over de omgeving kan vertellen en de leukste plekjes en tentjes heeft gevonden waar je optimaal van het Italiaanse leven in Umbrië kan genieten. Wat je ook zoekt, rust, schoonheid of gezelligheid, bij Casa di Montana is het allemaal te vinden. Ik ga heel vaak terugkomen! Casa di Montone is a magnificently situated B&B, surrounded by the most picturesque places and nature, many within a fifteen minute drive. But Tuscany is also good, you can be there within an hour. The B&B itself and the rooms are spacious and very well cared for, Coen Wessel a very pleasant host who can tell everything about the area and has found the nicest places and tents where you can optimally enjoy Italian life in Umbria. Whatever you are looking for, peace, beauty or cosiness, you can find it all at Casa di Montana. I will come back very often!
