Great food, 12€+coperto was for fish and two sides of vegetables! Very tasty caramelised onions! Staff was super nice and friendly. Even brought up with a platd with the selection of desserts. Very sweet!

Warm service. Many selections. If you're in the neighborhood of the Greek Theatre and Archeological Park, it's a good option. It's also air-conditioned, which was appreciated on a hot day. They offer cold drinks, including mineral water, fruit juices, beer, and wine.

Nice staff, good good - it's a great idea to mix different foods as you like. I just didn't like the price, seems to be cheap but at the end it's much more expensive than on menu. Still, worth visiting

A very informal place but with attentive service and an attractive interior. Order as few or as many dishes as you want from the counter at very acceptable prices. No messing around waiting for waiters and bills. Pasta dishes and fish or meat with vegetables. Good choice of beers and local wine to wash it down. The staff are very friendly and everything appears to be prepared to high food hygiene standards. Above all a fun place to visit.

A fantastic, authentic and unpretentious no-menu / „what you see is what you get” place, serving the daily-prepared „main course” (meat or fish / seafood) with some optional add-ons, and a daily wide selection of greens (grilled, stewed, etc.). And wine, naturally - as „a meal without wine is breakfast”, as one of the quotes presented inside stated ? You go to the counter, select from what is on display, et voila, get ready to eat! We both had the „large” (5 kinds) plate of greens - and wine. Bread / crustini was also served to accompany it. Everything tasted great, honest nonna-style Sicilian homecooking at its best - with good fresh produce and great use of spices. Wine was at an adequate level as well (we had the white) - and the service was flawless. The bill was 32€ - and the food & drink served was worth every penny. If you’re a foodie looking for local treats - you will find them at Agora La Cantina, so don’t hesitate to take a walk away from the tourist traps of Ortigia to check it out!

If you are looking for a place with traditional Sicilian cuisine, if you want to experience original grandma recipes, this is the place to go. Nice music and welcome atmosphere.

Friendly staff, our food was cold and the tomato pasta was bone dry. You eat what you see, warmed in a microwave oven in front of you. Kind of cheap solution. I recommend that you eat here if you have no other choice. Also 2€ service fee for a warming in a microwave, funny
