I am writing this review not to devalue this academy, of which I have never been a part in the end, but to warn and avoid wasting time to other students like me. It concerns the two-year school of photography. During the open day, the school is presented saying that there is no need to be technically perfect to enter, that everyone will start from scratch, to rest assured etc etc .. Many beautiful things. Unfortunately this is not the case, because as a reason for my non-admission I was told the opposite. I appreciated the availability of the professor in explaining everything to me, but honestly the premises were not those, and I am certainly not the first person taken on the street who does not know how to take a photograph, so to speak. So, for those who don't have much money, if you don't come from a three-year period of photography or are not professional photographers, forget it if you want to save 70 euros, because unfortunately they don't come back. For the rest, for those who want to try the exam anyway I can say that at least the teachers are not rude but rather kind and calm. :)

Uplifting to walk through with so much creative activity. Loved the graffiti too. Just walk in and have a look around.

There are great sculptures inside the Accademy. It’s open to public two or three times a year with exhibitions but the other times non accademy students are only allowed to visit the first hall( which I recommend you to do if you’re in Bologna for short time)

This dilapidated little street along the Teatro Comunale di Bologna attracts some great mural artists.

It’s a great place, you can meet a lot of interesting students. The main room is very beautiful. They do a lot of events and open day, the most recent one for Art City
