★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antica Abbazia, risalente all'anno 1000, edificata dai benedettini e soppressa alla fine del secolo XIV. Aveva giurisdizione su un ampio territorio e alle dipendenze del suo abate vi erano anche le chiese di Sant'Ippolito di Castelvecchio e di Sant'Ilario di Todi. Dopo la soppressione il suo ricco e prezioso archivio è conservato presso l'Archivio della Cattedrale di Spoleto.
Fu costruita su resti di una struttura romana, presumibilmente il tempio di Marte che, particolarmente venerato in questa zona, ha dato il nome ai monti, al territorio e al Vicus Martis.
Tale ipotesi è avvalorata dal ritrovamento di alcuni reperti tra cui un cippo con iscrizione romana (già sostenente la mensa d'altare della chiesa, conservato nella cappella privata attigua all'edificio abbaziale ).
L'edificio che rimane si presenta come un rifacimento su cospicui resti di grandiose strutture.
Sul retro dell'edificio c'è un belvedere che permette di ammirare la sottostante valle del Tevere e, in direzione ovest, la città di Todi con la cupola della chiesa della Consolazione.
 Ancient Abbey, dating back to the year 1000, built by the Benedictines and suppressed at the end of the 14th century. It had jurisdiction over a large territory and the churches of Sant'Ippolito di Castelvecchio and Sant'Ilario di Todi were also dependent on its abbot. After its suppression, its rich and precious archive is kept in the Archives of the Cathedral of Spoleto.
It was built on the remains of a Roman structure, presumably the temple of Mars which, particularly venerated in this area, gave its name to the mountains, the territory and the Vicus Martis.
This hypothesis is confirmed by the discovery of some finds including a stone with a Roman inscription (already supporting the altar table of the church, kept in the private chapel adjacent to the abbey building).
The remaining building looks like a reconstruction on the conspicuous remains of grandiose structures.
On the back of the building there is a belvedere that allows you to admire the underlying Tiber valley and, to the west, the city of Todi with the dome of the Consolation church.
