★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here in the past and the food was really good, yesterday however the choice of food going round on the sushi train was poor. Nobody was really picking up the options they offered and they weren't adding anything new so all the hot items were cold and stale and all the cold items were no longer fresh. Same went for the desserts. Disappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had very high expectations on this place since 99% of the comments are pretty good..unfortunately It was so disappointed that I couldn't even finish my food.It's not a Japanese restaurant but a Chinese bad place.Horrible food..place is old fashion..price is too high. If this is the best sushi in Rome then I will never ever eat sushi here again. Stay away from this place!!!thanks in advance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm Japanese. Zen Sushi is the best sushi restaurant I've ever visited. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and fresh fish. It's difficult to eat such wonderful sushi even in Japan! If you want to eat real sushi in Rome, I strongly recommend you to visit this restaurant.

The Wakame didn't taste all that fresh, though I like that they didn't overdress it with sesame oil. The Spicy Tuna was good for Rome.
I'll give it another try.
