It is a very simple place but it makes you understand how much passion and love the volunteers put in to help wild animals in difficulty.

It is a natural reserve where you can enjoy a guided tour that is certainly instructive. It is not a public attraction park where to find animals in captivity. Here, the animals present are wild and therefore are not used to humans. One should not expect to see various species as they often hide from human presence. Nonetheless, the visit is very informative and the expertise of the guides is certainly top notch. The duration is about two hours where you follow a path in the uncontaminated wood. The only non-wild animals are two owls that we find in an aviary at the beginning of the path. The time of the walk, about two hours, passes quickly and the history of the park and of flora and fauna is told. The WWF also deals with rescuing animals that are often found and rescued by people who bring them here. A visit is highly recommended to spend a half day different from the usual routine, but you shouldn't expect to visit an attractive zoo or park.

We went with our 5 year old to an event about elves and gnomes... they created the magic by hiding gnomes hats on trees and every So often there was a fairy door.... some even had washing outside! Great spot for a walk.

Slightly disappointed as I was expecting more animals instead it was a naturalistic tour of the reserve with a focus on biodiversity.
