★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi all - Well we had a good time while in Formia/Gaeta Italy, care of the Military Sea Lift and Cal Maritime. I was there in the summer 2012. Now the cycling is very predictable here. It is also very consistent. As you would expect in Italy, the Italians and Formia love cycling. The roads where somewhat busy but the drivers were aware of us. Every Saturday and Sunday there are group rides that go through Formia. We had a good 40+ riders at any given time. Also this shop sets up great tour rides on the famous Rome old hwy that takes you right into Rome. (all accessible by train) It is cobble stone so its best used with Cross or Mountain Bike. There is also a great climb that starts out as a road and turns into fire road. (just a few blocks from the shop) It goes up at least 1500 meters. Next to the shop are some great little cafe's. Also the Mc Donald's in town has the most insane organically, local grown salads. Not consistent with what you would get in the states. They have bicycle rentals that are reasonable and the owner is super nice. This shop is a small gem in a region that not only has cycling; but great beaches and lots of water sports in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I built my own ebike and was having trouble removing the bottom bracket. They had trouble as well. After about 45 minutes and sweating badly he removed it. I tried to pay, but he would not take my money. The friendliest best service of anywhere I've ever been. They will receive ALL of my business!!! Thank you!!!!
