She guided us through the marvels of Saint Peter's Basilica, square dome, tomb and Vatican museum , explainig the rich history of this magnificent place and keeping our attention at the highest level with very interesting stories. We got to spend to the day with him at the Vatican, and he was wonderful, organized, and understood how to communicate visually and aurally. He was kind, attentive, engaging and shared the most interesting facts about the history of the complex. We only wish we could book every tour with Marcello as our guide. M	Milissa Kaufman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the VATICAN TOUR & ST. PETER'S DOME CLIMB. This tour was amazing and so informative. We really enjoyed our tour guide, Chiara, and all her knowledge. We started bright & early at 8:00 a.m. with the climb to the top of St. Peter's dome. Make sure you have good walking shoes on because 537 steps up is a long way! The view from the top is beautiful and worth the effort. After we did St. Peter's climb and Basilica we were free to roam a little while until the next part started at 11:30 a.m. We viewed the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel. This tour was a little bit longer than I anticipated because of it being a combo tour. We started at 8:00 a.m. and finished about 1:30 p.m. I would highly recommend this tour but know what you are getting into.

She has an encyclopedic knowledge of the Vatican and knows the art, architecture and history of this incredible space like few we have ever experienced. If you are looking for a tour that is presented by some stodgy old art history professor that will put you to sleep in the first 5 minutes, this is not the tour guide for you. Chiara is a bright, funny and engaging tour guide who manages to remember everyone’s name ( there were 21 people in our group ) and can keep the energy level going throughout a 4 hour tour which makes for a highly enjoyable and fun time at the Vatican.

Chiara was an amazing guide with lots of energy and knowledge to get us moving. She kept us engaged through the day as we moved on to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the tour and definitely think we got a great value. I would highly recommend “When In Rome” as a company and Chiara as a guide. The tour included, all of St Peters Basilica with the dome climb, which give truly breath-taking 360 views of Rome, the Papal Sarcophagi (Vatacombs), the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel. Paolo welcomed everyone warmly and explained the tour prior to starting about what to expect and breaks included, ensuring all speakers where working and took spares in case any failed. He has a very warm personality, fabulous English, with a great relaxing voice, perfect for this tour and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. He explained in great details about the mosaics, artworks, sculptures, the buildings, past popes and the truly amazing 'The Last Judgement' Michelangelo's fresco in the Sistine Chapel. He ensure we got the absolute best out the tour that we could and I couldn't agree more, my family and I loved it all, I would highly recommend this tour and Paolo. Thank you Paolo 10/10
E	Emma Healy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend this Tour Group! We are a couple and did the 'Entire Vatican' with vatacombs and dome Climb. If you can, ask for Chiara, she has incredible knowledge, passionate and hilarious! The tour started at 8am which meant....no queues!!! It was beautiful to see the square and from the dome, the city this early in the morning! We then went onto the Vatican Museums which are quite daunting but was manageable with a tour guide It was an invaluable experience that we will hold close to our heart. Thank you so much Chiara for this memory.
