Great gym quality, friendly staff, nice bar/lounge.
Also they do explain necessary things in English if needed so there is no stopper.

β β β β β My review is about the different standard that I'm used to at Virgin Active in Australia.
Positive: Friendly and attentive reception and willing to help out and knows the process about completing the health check for members from abroad. The gym is clean and tidy and the members seem to know the queue in maintaining it that way. You have all the weights and cardio machine you need. Reception lets me borrow a padlock.
Negative: No towel hire even if you do pay. You have to buy a towel or bring your own. Another point that is bizzare is that there is no water bubbler/refill station. I asked and they said to do it in toilet. Does that mean needs to buy water or bring a filled bottle from home?
The gym's purpose is for servicing the suburbs outside the Florence city centre.
