★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UNRAA village called (Villaggio Limina by the locals) is an old village built after climate damages at the early '900. The buildings are now ruins. And the are is utilized by the locals for picnics especially in the summer. Cause to the incivility of the "indigenous people" the area is full of trash and in a abandoned state.
The Village is in the Municipality of Mammola and there is a church inside (Church of Assunta Virgin) with a big feast each 15 August. In this feast the village is full of people making picnic (cooking, bbq, playing soccer, drinking beer/wine...).
After this feast the trash level reach the maximum for many days.
At the entrance of the village there is a cold water fountain where the people goes to fill bottles and bins.
I recommend to visit it in the winter if you want to fel the nature or in the summer in you want to have a picnic (15 August is the best).
