 I learned at Villa Cattolica that Villa Valguarnera is private and inhabited by the heirs and that they can only visit it by acquaintances. That should be specified by the municipality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un gioiello del Barocco siciliano, discretamente mantenuto dai principi Alliata e recentemente recuperato, almeno parzialmente e con ingressi controllati, nella sua parte principale. Peccato per le tante edicole e patii in arenaria che l'erosione ha quasi cancellato.
A jewel of the Sicilian Baroque, discreetly maintained by the Alliata princes and recently recovered, at least partially and with controlled entrances, in its main part. Too bad for the many sandstone kiosks and patios that erosion has almost canceled.
