★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You don't have to be a hardcore fan of classical music to love this place. Puccini surely got his inspirations from this wonderful lake and hills just in front of his Villa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, the same ignorance about greenpass rules in Italy. Although one can go until 01.09 with the second vaccination after 2 days (since Johnson is once shot and applies as second vaccination) this is second time when someone is applying rules blindly and will not let us in. We encountered 4 times people who understood why the greenpass machine is still showing red (including Arena from Verona) I really do wish people who check a rule to be informed about it. Otherwise, I see discrepancies about the site for making guided visits with the actual situation. Summing up, for 8 years I visited this house and the granddaughter of the artist showed us kindly the rooms and talked about the master. Today some foundation took over and making own policy rules. Shameful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a fan of Giacomo Puccini"'s work this is a must. His home and his personal possessions give an insight into the daily life of the man and the setting is beautiful. We took a short boat trip into the Lago Di Massaciuccoli which was well worth the money spent to see the whole setting.
