★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Villa Penelope ist eine sehr schöne gesicherte Villa, mit Klimaanlage, Pool , einer Küche/Griller im Außenbereich und vieles mehr. Die Ausstattung ist modern und die Villa und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank mit diversen Lebensmittel gefüllt und die Begrüßung der Vermieter sehr herzlich.
Das Meer ist zwar vom 1 Stock aus zu sehen aber zu Fuß ist kein Strand erreichbar.
Wir raten sogar ab den Strand hinter der Villa zu besuchen.
Wenn man diese Villa bucht braucht man unbedingt ein Mietauto um Strände, Supermärkte oder Städte anzufahren.
Man möge darauf achten, dass nur gewisse kWh an Strom im Vertrag inkludiert sind. Im Sommer kommt man damit nicht aus und man kann mit einer hohen Nachzahlung rechnen.
Alle öffentlichen Strände in der Nähe sind sehr nett, dass Essen sowie Lebensmittel in Sizilien sind sehr teuer.
Leider gab es diverse Sprachprobleme, da viele Sizilianer kein Deutsch und auch junge Leute kein Englisch sprechen.
Bevor man in die Villa einzieht sollte man alles genau überprüfen, damit man nicht unerwartet Kosten verrechnet bekommt.
Für die Müllentsorgung ist man selbst verantwortlich und muss dafür in die nächste Stadt fahren.
Vom Standort der Villa kann man viele schöne alte Barockstädte anschauen. Aber bis auf die UNESCO Städte sind viele Orte sehr müllverschmutzt.
Villa Penelope is a very nice secured villa, with air conditioning, pool, an outdoor kitchen / grill and much more. The equipment is modern and the villa and the garden are very well maintained. When we arrived, the refrigerator was filled with various groceries and the owner welcomed us very warmly.
The sea can be seen from the first floor, but there is no beach within walking distance.
We even advise against visiting the beach behind the villa.
If you book this villa you definitely need a rental car to go to beaches, supermarkets or cities.
One should make sure that only certain kWh of electricity are included in the contract. You can't get by with it in summer and you can expect a high back payment.
All the public beaches in the vicinity are very nice, food and groceries in Sicily are very expensive.
Unfortunately there were various language problems, as many Sicilians don't speak German and young people don't speak English either.
Before you move into the villa you should check everything carefully so that you don't get unexpectedly charged.
You are responsible for the garbage disposal and have to drive to the next town.
From the location of the villa you can see many beautiful old baroque towns. But apart from the UNESCO cities, many places are very polluted with garbage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa moderna, ampio giardino e piscina grande, vi è anche angolo idromassaggio. Ideale per famiglie e gruppi di amici, comoda fino a 10 persone. A pochi km vi sono cittá barocche da visitare, fra le più belle della Sicilia.
Modern villa, large garden and large pool, there is also a whirlpool corner. Ideal for families and groups of friends, comfortable up to 10 people. A few kilometers there are baroque city to visit, among the most beautiful in Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana a villa Penelope a inizio luglio 2018. La casa è molto accogliente, ben curata e dotata di tutti i confort, tutti i locali sono dotati di aria condizionata (che funziona perfettamente) e le finestre delle camere hanno tutte le zanzariere. La cucina è super attrezzata. Il wi-fi funziona perfettamente. Dal piano superiore si vede da un lato il mare e dall'altro la campagna.
Il giardino è molto bello e ben curato con ulivi e palme, è tutto recintato con una siepe per cui la privacy è garantita. La piscina (con idromassaggio) è favolosa, metà piscina è alta circa 1.20 m e l'altra metà circa 2.50 m. La villa si trova in un complesso di altre ville con un'entrata principale chiusa con un cancello elettrico, mentre il parcheggio (coperto) della villa è dotato di un altro cancello elettrico e all'interno si possono parcheggiare tre auto. Roberta, che ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo e ci ha assistito durante il soggiorno, è una persona molto gentile e disponibile e ha sempre risposto in brevissimo tempo alle nostre email, sia prima della prenotazione che dopo.
Il posto è tranquillo e il mare è a pochi minuti a piedi. Un posto strategico per raggiungere mare, montagna e luoghi storici.
Ringraziamo ancora sia Roberta che Vito sperando di rivederci.
We stayed a week at Villa Penelope at the beginning of July 2018. The house is very welcoming, well-kept and equipped with all comforts, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning (which works perfectly) and the bedroom windows all have mosquito nets. The kitchen is super equipped. The wi-fi works perfectly. From the upper floor you can see the sea on one side and the countryside on the other.
The garden is very beautiful and well cared for with olive trees and palm trees, it is all fenced with a hedge for which privacy is guaranteed. The swimming pool (with whirlpool) is fabulous, half the pool is about 1.20m high and the other half about 2.50m. The villa is located in a complex of other villas with a main entrance closed with an electric gate, while the (covered) parking of the villa is equipped with another electric gate and three cars can be parked inside. Roberta, who welcomed us upon our arrival and assisted us during our stay, is a very kind and helpful person and always answered our emails in a very short time, both before booking and after.
The place is quiet and the sea is just a few minutes' walk away. A strategic place to reach the sea, mountains and historical places.
We still thank both Roberta and Vito hoping to see each other again.
