The villa is frescoed and houses the Galileo Chini Museum, the itinerary is very interesting and concerns the works of this painter of the Belle Epoque and the manufacture of Borgo San Lorenzo, painting linked to the decorative arts, therefore an itinerary of pure beauty.

Non mi è piaciuto il nuovo allestimento del museo che ha tolto spazio alla collezione della Manifattura Chini per dedicare alcune sale all'arte moderna di cui chi viene qui per lo più non sente la necessità. Inoltre non condivido la scelta di accentrare tutto il museo solo sulla figura di Galileo Chini che, per quanto poliedrico e geniale, ha potuto esprimersi e lavorare grazie al supporto della sua famiglia impegnata da generazioni nello sviluppo nell'omonima Manifattura dove tanti artisti, appunto, hanno contribuito alla grandezza del nome Chini ognuno con la propria peculiarità. I pezzi sono esposti senza didascalie e le luci non sono adeguate soprattutto nella stanza dei disegni per le scene teatrali. Personale molto gentile. Enthusiastically visited several times in the past, sadly I have to say it has gotten worse. I did not like the new layout of the museum which has taken away space from the Chini Manufacture collection to dedicate some rooms to modern art which those who come here mostly do not feel the need. Furthermore, I do not agree with the choice of centralizing the whole museum only on the figure of Galileo Chini who, although multifaceted and brilliant, was able to express himself and work thanks to the support of his family engaged for generations in the development of the homonymous Manufactory where many artists, in fact, they contributed to the greatness of the name Chini each with its own peculiarity. The pieces are exhibited without captions and the lights are not adequate especially in the drawing room for theatrical scenes. Very nice staff.

All’interno il museo con una splendida testimonianza delle opere di Galileo Chini e della sua famiglia. Una receptionist preparatissima ed entusiasta ci ha accolto ed istruito sulla visita e sul percorso museale. Vale la gita. The villa is surrounded by a splendid park with centuries-old cedars. Inside the museum with a splendid testimony of the works of Galileo Chini and his family. A highly trained and enthusiastic receptionist welcomed us and instructed us on the visit and on the museum itinerary. Worth the tour.
