Purtroppo, a causa delle condizioni meteorologiche, non siamo potuti andare a vedere il parco che ci hanno descritto come molto bello. All'arrivo (pedonale, dato che la strada è chiusa al traffico) c'è una bella vista dalla piazzetta sulla valle del Ticino. All'ingresso un arco chiuso da un cancello in ferro battuto porta al cortile interno e da lì si arriva alle sale dei ricevimenti. Sia l'esterno che l'interno della villa di presentano ordinati, puliti e restaurati molto bene. Impeccabile l'organizzazione. Per quel che riguarda il pranzo (squisito), è stato preparato nelle cucine interne, ma da un servizio catering. Ottima location per un matrimonio.
We went to this villa for a friends wedding dinner. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, we were unable to go to see the park which they described to us as very beautiful. Upon arrival (pedestrian, since the road is closed to traffic) there is a beautiful view from the square over the Ticino valley. At the entrance an arch closed by a wrought iron gate leads to the internal courtyard and from there you get to the reception rooms. Both the exterior and interior of the villa are neat, clean and restored very well. Impeccable organization. As for the lunch (delicious), it was prepared in the internal kitchens, but by a catering service. Excellent location for a wedding.
