Buon cibo e buona la carta dei vini. Prezzo leggermente superiore ad altri posti con la stessa cucina ma ne vale la pena anche solo per la location. Personale molto gentile. Relaxing and comfortable environment, great for intimate dinners. Excellent panoramic view towards the ticino moor and the Alps. Good food and good wine list. Price slightly higher than other places with the same cuisine but it's worth it just for the location. Very nice staff.
F	Francesca Cmp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo pranzato qui in una domenica un po’ troppo affollata: avevamo il tavolo prenotato alle 14 e siamo riusciti a sederci solo alle 15 (su questo punto non mi sento di soffermarmi troppo visto il periodo.. certo una o due persone in più nel servizio avrebbero dovuto prevederle sicuramente). Parlando dell’esperienza in sé, da quando ci siamo seduti il servizio è stato abbastanza fluente e con tempi corretti, il menù con proposte sia di carne che di pesce decisamente non banali e con prezzi abbastanza corretti. Peccato per l’orario tardo perché non abbiamo potuto assaggiare gli spaghetti con le vongole, ma abbiamo ripiegato sugli gnocchi al pesto di basilico (buono ma i gamberi erano proprio due) e sui pici cacio e pepe con variazione di fiori di zucca (meritevoli d’assaggio!); il tataki di tonno eccellente (forse un po’ scarsa la porzione per il prezzo). In due parole, questo bistrot è l’alternativa più raffinata degli unici due locali presenti sulla piazzetta di Tornavento… Sicuramente il dehor estivo merita, ma lo consiglierei sicuramente più in settimana che in giorni così affollati! Prezzo medio 30€ a persona (con vino anche 35/40€). We had lunch here on a Sunday that was a bit too crowded: we had a table booked at 2pm and we were only able to sit down at 3pm (on this point I don't feel like dwelling too much considering the period ... certainly one or two more people in the service surely should have foreseen them). Speaking of the experience itself, since we sat down the service has been quite fluent and with correct timing, the menu with both meat and fish proposals that are decidedly non-trivial and with fairly correct prices. Too bad for the late hours because we could not taste the spaghetti with clams, but we folded on the gnocchi with basil pesto (good but the prawns were just two) and on the pici cacio e pepe with a variation of courgette flowers (deserving of 'taste!); the excellent tuna tataki (perhaps a little poor portion for the price). In a nutshell, this bistro is the more refined alternative of the only two places on the piazzetta in Tornavento ... Surely the summer outdoor area deserves it, but I would definitely recommend it more during the week than on such crowded days! Average price € 30 per person (with wine also € 35/40).

Qualità dei piatti davvero buona e giusta varietà (non troppi piatti per fortuna). Prezzo corretto per quello mangiato. Varia la carta dei vini. Quite a great experience. Clean, well-kept location from the upper floor with an excellent view of the valley below. Very kind and nice service. Really good quality of dishes and right variety (luckily not too many dishes). Correct price for the one eaten. Vary the wine list.

A pranzo ci siamo trovati benissimo, i piatti sono ben fatti e c’è un ampio scelta. L’ideale per la pausa pranzo ma non solo. Il personale è cordiale ed amichevole ma mai invadente e sempre rispettoso. Aggiungerò al più presto altre foto del menu e dei piatti. Well the view already speaks for itself, I think that anything you can eat here is necessarily better! We had a great time at lunch, the dishes are well done and there is a wide choice. Ideal for a lunch break but not only. The staff are warm and friendly but never intrusive and always respectful. I will be adding more photos of the menu and dishes as soon as possible.
