★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una delle numerose e grandi cisterne giunte fino a noi in discrete condizioni e presenti nella Villa dei Gordiani sulla via Prenestina. Presumibilmente servivano un'area termale nella villa stessa. Molto interessante!
One of the numerous and large cisterns that have come down to us in fair condition and are present in the Villa dei Gordiani on via Prenestina. Presumably they served a spa area in the villa itself. Very interesting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Cisterna di Villa Gordiani Park Lato nord è decisamente conservata meglio della Grande Cisterna che c'è nel lato sud del parco. Come dice il nome, la struttura fungeva da cisterna per l'antica popolazione dei Gordiani che viveva nel territorio. Essa è la prima attrazione che si trova nel lato nord del parco, percorrendolo da sinistra verso destra, seguita da Tor De' Schiavi e L'Aula Absidata. Il monumento è recintato e quindi non visitabile ma ben visibile dall'esterno.
The Cistern of Villa Gordiani Park North side is definitely better preserved than the Great Cistern that is on the south side of the park. As the name implies, the structure served as a cistern for the ancient population of the Gordians who lived in the area. It is the first attraction found on the north side of the park, following it from left to right, followed by Tor De 'Schiavi and the Aula Absidata. The monument is fenced and therefore not open to visitors but clearly visible from the outside.
