Debbies villa has undeniable character and the area on the border of Tuscany and Umbria is steeped with history. Hire a car and explore the countryside and medieval villages. Theres plenty of culture and the beauty of the tranquil Lake Trasimeno in the area to enjoy.
Antique markets in surrounding towns are a must.
Sipping an authentic wine on the balcony watching amazing sunsets after exploring all day with the kids was a favourite of ours.
You can drive a short distance to the train station and take a short trip into Florence for the day so no stress about parking.
