★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Gioianna is absolutely amazing! We have traveled to many great places all over the world and nothing compares to the beauty, peace, and joy we have found at Villa Gioianna. The Villa is beautiful inside and out. The furnishing, decor, and overall interior design of the villa is amazing. It’s gorgeous! Pictures don’t do justice to the beauty. The beds are very comfortable and each bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom. The grounds are just as amazing. The property is surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. The pool, fountain, olive trees, bocce court, and garden make you feel as if you’re living in an Italian dreamland. We loved being able to walk to the next door vineyard for wine.
Anna has lived in Italy for many years. Her suggestions and knowledge of the area are beyond amazing! I’m grateful for her recommendations. The experiences we had and memories made while staying at the villa, due to Anna’s recommendations and kindness are priceless.
The villa’s location is ideal for traveling the “best of Italy”. While staying at the villa we visited Cortona, Orvieto, San Gimignano, Florence, Deurrta , Siena, Arezzo, Todi, Montepulciano, and many other wonderful towns. Castiglione del Lago itself is a beautiful village with great restaurants, bakeries, wineries, and more. I highly recommend Villa Gioianna. It’s an experience of a lifetime.
