★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maya is a consummate host. She listens, she intuits needs, she’s friendly, and she’s kind. Someone in town recommended a special type of pasta— Pansotti con sugo di noci—and she knew just the place to call to deliver it to us (it’s Covid time as I write). This morning we met Barbara. While we had less occasion to get to know her, B was equally attentive and she made us delicious eggs with bacon.
The villa itself is in beautiful condition: tromp l’oeil painting on walls and ceilings, mosaic floors, well kept gardens. Of course it has a spectacular view, and a big bonus in this town is the free, on-site parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most incredible time in Villa Gelsomino. From the first moment on they cared about us so lovely in the kindest way. Our room was pure romantic and very very clean.
To wake up and see the painting above us was really unic and special. The breakfast was deliscious and made with love out of their vegetable garden. You could taste the sun and the breeze of the beautiful ocean. The garden and the view above Santa Margharita and even to portofino was stunning and we will keep it in our mind and heart forever. Also all the people working there will stay in our hearts. We had such good conversations. Special for us to stay with you and also sharing our engagement experience with this place will be never forgetten. Chris&Pauli

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled onto this place coming into Santa Margherita and was lucky enough to get a nice room there. The villa is beautiful, in a great location and with free parking!!! That is very rare on this coast. Had a great night's sleep in very comfortable beds, which is also rare in Italy - for a Scandinavian that are used to softer mattresses than what is customary in Italy. Breakfast was excellent and on the amazing patio overlooking the city and the sea. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is unique. Our room was beautiful, large and comfortable. It is worth mentioning the beautiful design of the room and common areas, including, for example, paintings on the walls. The breakfast was served with a view of the bay, on fine porcelain. The staff was very helpful and friendly, additionally a big plus for taking care of the ecology. Thank you for this amazing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a lovely stay at Villa Gelsomino. The villa is amazing with beautifully painted ceilings. A lot of care is put into detail for example a small flower bouquet was waiting in my room upon arival. They also provided amenities for my dog. In all the staff was very helpful and friendly. I recommend to book directly trough the hotel.

to make sure that we, as guests, had a superb time. The rooms were beautiful, the ceilings were divine. Immaculate, high quality fittings, extremely comfortable beds, amazing views across the town and the Liguria Sea. The food was perfect. Loved the quality, artisanal produce and the care that went into the meals that were so carefully prepared for us. If you h e the opportunity you I have an evening meal take it - one of the best dinners I have had. Beautiful! Can’t want to return - Family Evans

The views were amazing, beautiful interiors and lovingly kept gardens. breakfast was a delicious combo of fresh food. Our room had a beautiful fresco in the ceiling and great views of the bay. Hosts were very attentive and courteous. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a memorable stay. ❤️❤️
