La volta Palladiana si vede nel suo splendore architettonico. Ma si tratta di un'opera autografo di Andrea Palladio, voluta da famiglia nobile con proprietà agricole ed attiva nei lavori e gestione della campagna. Per questo la villa è perfettamente integrata con il paesaggio, non era luogo di contemplazione del paesaggio e dell'attività agricola, bensì luogo di produzione. Molti anni fa ho potuto salire fino all'estradosso della volta a crociera che copre il salone centrale. Esperienza memorabile toccare gli stessi mattoni che Palladio volle in quel modo. Se appassionati delle strutture palladiane, consiglio la vicina Villa Quinto a Quinto Vicentino, superbamente recuperata nel sottotetto visitabile. The villa is actually quite disused. But it is an autograph work by Andrea Palladio, commissioned by a noble family with agricultural properties and active in the work and management of the countryside. For this reason the villa is perfectly integrated with the landscape, it was not a place of contemplation of the landscape and agricultural activity, but a place of production. Many years ago I was able to climb up to the extrados of the cross vault that covers the central hall. Memorable experience touching the same bricks that Palladio wanted in that way. If you are fond of Palladian structures, I recommend the nearby Villa Quinto in Quinto Vicentino, superbly recovered in the attic that can be visited.

Dovrebbero organizzarne anche altre nell'arco dell'anno. Villa molto bella e ricca di particolari interessanti che la guida esperta che ci ha seguito ci ha illustrato. Stupendo il giro interno nei piani superiori dove è stato possibile vedere dall'alto la struttura delle volte. Avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione radicale... così da valorizzare e dare risalto a questo piccolo gioiello del Palladio patrimonio dell'Unesco. Complimenti agli organizzatori e ai volontari dei Fai che sono riusciti a coinvolgere gli studenti del Boscardin come guide. Villa not open to the public.
