L'opera, costruita probabilmente intorno al 1558, fu commissionata dalla famiglia Emo di Venezia. È una delle più belle ville palladiane. Inserita dall'UNESCO nella lista dei patrimoni dell'umanità. La villa è corredata di due lunghe barchesse colonnate usate per le attività agricole. Gli esterni sono prettamente Palladiani, mentre gli interni sono ricchi di affreschi (in eccellente stato di conservazione) di Giovanni Battista Zelotti. Interessanti anche gli arredi , i vasellami e i bellissimi lampadari di Murano. La villa é spesso usata come location per importanti eventi Culturali. Villa Emo located near Fanzolo di Vedelago TV. Designed by the architect Andrea Palladio. The work, probably built around 1558, was commissioned by the Emo family of Venice. It is one of the most beautiful Palladian villas. Listed by UNESCO on the list of world heritage sites. The villa is equipped with two long columned barns used for agricultural activities. The exteriors are purely Palladian, while the interiors are rich in frescoes (in excellent condition) by Giovanni Battista Zelotti. Also interesting are the furnishings, the pottery and the beautiful Murano chandeliers. The villa is often used as a location for important cultural events.
