★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice old villa with historic significance. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. But it does not have any market nearby. A bus stop is in front of its gate which can help travel to Padoa or Venice islands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my first time to stay at the villa. We had a room with two double beds really large and very airy. Linen sheets were replaced a few times during our week, and the room was cleaned very well. That takes skill in a historic building such as this. We loved their delicious breakfasts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You get wait you pay for ... Or less. The room was small, as expected, but it's seriously outdated, dusty and dirty. It is not the same having a well maintained historical villa as having a crumbling ruin. The floor of the room consisted of old wood tiles which are now splintered, an accident in the waiting. You cannot be barefoot in you own room. The toilet has nasty smudges, the carpets are dirty and smelly. And if you can tolerate that, I still have more bad news. The breakfast is a joke. You only get supermarket packed pastries and cookies, half of them already expired. I saw a yogurt in the fridge with expiration date from a month ago! Forget about having fresh prociutto or salami like every hotel. Not existent here. Stay here only if you are at midnight in the area, during a storm and without any transportation option. Even then I would seriously think about walking all the way to venice and stay under a bridge.
