★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In piazza Garibaldi si trova la Torre Normanno-Sveva detta Torre Grande. Alta 18 metri risale al XI e XII secolo, ma poi nel XIV secolo per problemi di staticità fu ingrandita e rivestita da una camicia di pietre squadrate. Era utilizzata come punto di vedetta e segnalazione ed era parte integrante del sistema difensivo del cittadino. La piazza si presenta pulita ed una meta per i turisti che passeggiano per la città.
In Piazza Garibaldi there is the Norman-Swabian Tower called Torre Grande. 18 meters high, it dates back to the 11th and 12th centuries, but then in the 14th century due to static problems it was enlarged and covered with a shirt of squared stones. It was used as a lookout and signaling point and was an integral part of the citizen's defense system. The square is clean and a destination for tourists walking around the city.
