I cannot recommend Villa Cicchi enough, as Elena Cicchi was responsible for my spectacular Anglo Italian wedding reception last weekend. The food is outstanding, featuring their own products and catering for a range of dietary requirements (we had vegetarian, lactose and gluten intolerant guests , and all were accommodated with wonderful alternatives ). We fell in love with the venue after seeing it in February , it has a very special atmosphere being so old and as it is high up the views are stunning and the air is very fresh . It has a romantic set of rooms in the house including a gorgeous long cellar which is used for storing wine and their own cured meats , and for weddings there is the option to use the marque , terrace and pool. The outdoor space is perfect for a wedding as there are so many options for the photographs. Our guests loved moving between different spaces during the day, and were amazed by the sight of the pool all decorated with fairy lights where we had desert and the cutting of the cake. The food is something spectacular , and we knew after tasting the menu in February that we wanted to have our reception here. We particularly enjoyed the melanzane parmigiana and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms , and the cherry sauce with the pork for the second course was really something special. The wedding cake was a semifreddo which had been decorated beautifully and looked just gorgeous. Everybody really appreciated the quality of the cured meats and cheeses and the wines . The team at the villa is very professional , and everything ran like clockwork on the day. For the planning , most of the communication was by email as we live in London , but we were able to come to Italy a couple of times to finalise the menu and were accommodated and fed very well each time! Elena knows a good team of people and recommended us a florist, violinist and bus driver and this made it a lot easier for us. Our florist has to have a special mention because she knows the venue very well and was able to visualise my floral fantasy in this setting and made a lovely floral swag across the terrace. The details such as the menu and table plan were perfect and very professionally done , and Elena provided a wonderful selection of her own items wrapped beautifully for our family and bridesmaids. We were treated like a king and queen for the day and had good support and reassurance during the planning . We had such an amazing day , it was really like a fairy tale, a dream . We can’t wait to come back as guests in the restaurant !

They are ranked #1 in the Ascoli Piceno region amongst restaurants. This is for a very good reason: the food is outstanding! Not only are the chefs great, but all the ingredients are local and most of it they make themselves. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner there - all very very good. We've also celebrated our wedding there and the atmosphere is gorgeous, it's like you've stepped through time into the 17th centrury. It's a great place to organize events at: all our wedding guests were amazed by the building and the surroundings. The Michelin Guide has them recommended as "worth a visit". This is an understatement: if you're in the region, you have to pay them a visit.

A beautiful location, incredible food, a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, but the thing that I love the most about Villa Cicchi is how welcoming and kind everyone is. Everyone who works there is so friendly and warm, it is wonderful simply to see them. They have always gone out of their way to make us feel at home. It is one of my favourite places in the world, never mind Italy. Simply wonderful.

Villa Cicchi hosted our wedding and we have to say it was superb from start to finish. Elena and her team were very kind, the food was locally sourced and full of flavour. The wedding cake was DELICIOUS. A wonderful, authentic fairytale experience. We can’t thank Villa Cicchi enough and will continue to recommend their services.
