Mio figlio con disprassia e disturbo del linguaggio è stato seguito per qualche mese presso questa struttura, ma fin dall'inizio abbiamo avuto dei dubbi sul tipo di trattamento ricevuto, principalmente perché non era seguito da una logopedista, ma solo da una psicomotricista. Per bambini con disturbi di questo tipo consiglio di affidarsi prima di tutto a strutture ospedaliere pubbliche ed ai neuropsichiatri della ASL, anche perché sono questi ultimi che hanno l'ultima parola su sostegno e 104. Non trovo le parole per ringraziare tutto il personale di Villa Ardeatina. Sono stati estremamente professionali, attenti, affettuosi con il mio papà che in loro ha trovato quasi una seconda famiglia. Scherzava con tutti, si confidava, mangiava con gusto le prelibatezze che ogni giorno venivano proposte. Abbiamo trovato pur nel dolore e nella sofferenza del distacco da papà, l’assistenza che qualsiasi famiglia vorrebbe per i suoi cari. Negli ultimi giorni e ore della sua vita, abbiamo pianto e condiviso il dolore con alcuni di loro. E oggi che papà non c’è più, siamo felici di aver scelto Villa Ardeatina per accompagnare papà nel suo ultimo viaggio. GIUDIZIO COMPLESSIVO Professionalità, pulizia e attenzione delle norme igienico-sanitarie, formazione del personale, gentilezza, ottima cucina. I pazienti ricoverati presso l’hospice sono pochi e anche questo sicuramente contribuisce all’ offerta di un servizio più attento e ‘personalizzato’, dove il malato non è un numero ma una persona con il suo vissuto e le sue emozioni. Si tratta di una struttura che è sicuramente un fiore all’ occhiello del servizio sanitario nazionale. Anche l’assistenza domiciliare è organizzata molto bene, con un servizio efficiente e un numero per le emergenze sempre a disposizione. Complimenti al Dott. Scapati e alla sua equipe. MY EXPERIENCE My father, a terminally ill cancer patient, was hospitalized at the Hospice, first in home care and then in residential mode. In un primo momento eravamo talmente addolorate e frastornate da non aver percepito l'ambiente in cui ci trovavamo, forse perché avevamo vissuto i giorni precedenti il ricovero una situazione complicatissima. Il giorno successivo eravamo lì e la sensazione di accoglienza tranquillità pulizia e assistenza è stata immediata, abbiamo avuto la certezza di aver fatto la scelta migliore! Ringraziamo di cuore i medici e gli assistenti per aver prestato le cure necessarie senza trascurare la dignità e l'attenzione che ogni malato ha diritto soprattutto nella fase terminale della vita. Il personale infirmeristico è stato molto attento cortese e preparato ma credo che dedicare solo 45 minuti al giorno per la fisioterapia (a volte anche meno per carenza di personale) sia veramente poco..... İnsomma ho trovato, in alcuni casi, poca attenzione da un punto di vista medico in particolare fisioterapico. In compenso si mangia molto bene ma non è sufficiente per esprimere un giudizio totalmente positivo

Andrea Maria Scapati e dal mio angelo custode l'infermiere Victor sempre pronto a rincuorarmi quando vedeva che avevo bisogno di un grande abbraccio e per tutte le volte che mi ha risposto al telefono per un consiglio terapeutico. Mio padre, Remo, è stato seguito dall'Hospice di Villa Ardeatina con modalità domiciliare, per due mesi, a seguito dell'aggravarsi della sua neoplasia tumorale. Vorrei ringraziare Alba che con la sua calma , attenzione e conforto ha trovato i tempi e i modi per rassicurarmi e tranquillizzarmi. Vorrei ringraziare gli infermieri che in questi due mesi sono entrati delicatamente nella nostra vita. Un grazie enorme va a Emanuele, Paolo, Fabio e Francesca che hanno sempre dimostrato attenzione , cura delle persone e professionalità non solo nei confronti di mio padre ma anche nei nostri confronti.
