★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Albrizzi, oggi villa Albrizzi Compiano, dove Hemingway dimorò alcuni giorni prima di essere ferito. E’ la casa dei bachi da seta del racconto “Insonnia” e il vicino quadrivio di San Pietro Novello con i morti insepolti dell’attacco del 19 giugno ispirerà il racconto “Come non sarai mai”, scritto dopo 14 anni ma con ben vivi i segni della lotta e l’esperienza della morte (tratto da Itinerario “Sulle Tracce di Hemingway” - alronchetto.it).

La villa oggi risulta non accessibile al pubblico. Ho avuto l'onore di poterla visitare.
 Villa Albrizzi, today Villa Albrizzi Compiano, where Hemingway lived a few days before being wounded. In questa casa dimoro' Hernest Hemingway prima di trasferirsi a Casa Botter (adiacente all'attuale Z.I. di Meolo). Hemingway ricordera' Villa Ambrizzi nel suo raccolto "Insonnia" col nome di: la casa dei bachi da seta. L'edificio ospito' Don Giovanni Minozzi, creatore delle Case del Solďato e il Tenente Edoardo Lanzetti responsabile delle case nella Terza Armata. Villa Ambrizzi, during the Battle of the Solstice, in 1918, was the seat of the American Red Cross and Casa del Soldato. Hernest Hemingway lived in this house before moving to Casa Botter (adjacent to the current Z.I. of Meolo). Hemingway will remember Villa Ambrizzi in his harvest "Insomnia" with the name of: the house of silkworms. The building housed Don Giovanni Minozzi, creator of the Case del Solďato and Lieutenant Edoardo Lanzetti responsible for the houses in the Third Army.
