 The Pontone Viaduct, consisting of 25 arches of 12 meters each, supported the old Sparanise-Gaeta railway line, also called the Aurunci line and closed after the Second World War.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il viadotto, una imponente opera composta da 25 arcate (da ciò il nome 25 ponti) serviva per superare un imponente dislivello sulla linea ferroviaria Sparanise Formia Gaeta. L'opera progettata dai Borbone, fu inaugurata dai Savoia nel 1892 e chiusa dopo la seconda guerra mondiale.
The viaduct, an imposing work consisting of 25 arches (hence the name 25 bridges) was used to overcome an impressive difference in height on the Sparanise Formia Gaeta railway line. The work designed by the Bourbons was inaugurated by the Savoy in 1892 and closed after the Second World War.
