Rovere ha alcune caratteristiche non comuni sia fra i veterinari che, in genere, fra gli umani: è molto gentile, estremamente competente (ma, proprio per questo, se non è sicuro di poter intervenire al meglio su una patologia, ti indirizza da uno specialista), ama spiegare ai padroni dei pazienti le caratteristiche di una patologia e le ragioni della cura, rassenerandoli. E, infine, è di una onestà che rasenta l'autolesionismo economico. Se troverò un medico per umani con almeno qualcuna di queste caratteristiche mi affretterò a segnalarvelo. E aveva ragione, molti prendono animali come fossero orsacchiotti, nn si rendono conto della responsabilità. Poi ho apprezzato molto la sua pazienza quando si trattava di catturare il gatto Pigo x fargli una puntura, cosi come la sua decisa delicatezza in tutti i momenti di visite o interventi. E gli sono grata per come mi ha supportato, quando abbiamo deciso di porre fine alle sofferenze di Pigo, con la sua presenza intensa e lieve nello stesso tempo.
